Soms...... Sometimes....

(bloos..bloos...sorry...).
life goes so fast, that you forget to write a blogpost.....(blush...blush.....sorry...).

Oké, here we go!
Here is Carolina Chain (pattern by Bonnie Hunter-click) on the frame.
This is so handy!
I really love
working with my frame; it's especially better for my back and knees....
The frame is from fa. Meeuw (click), for the ones who are interested.

(je kunt nog net mijn Nina zien.. -Bernina Aurora QE 440....:D......)
(you just can spot my Nina... - Bernina Aurora QE 440.... :D......)

And here is Easy Street finished an of the frame!
Have to put the binding on, but I can do that later. Besides it's always nice for an evening on the couch in front of  the tv... ;)

EN.........
KIJK EENS WAT IK GEVONDEN HEB !!!!!!
AND.........
LOOK WHAT I FOUND !!!!!

TROMGEROFFEL .....!!!!!!!!!!
DRUMROLL ....... !!!!!!!!!!!!

An Elna Lotus SP !! Made between 1968 and 1978 in Switzerland...
A sweet little thing and she runs so great.
I called her "Lotje" .....  ;)

Above she is closed; opens up like a Lotus-flower (hence the name..)
And beneath she is open..

(klik)

Ofcourse I had to find a manual for her rightaway and also had to clean her inside and out....
But.... everything works and smooth as well!
Ofcourse I had to try to sew some hexagons "in the wild" (paperpieced).
Isn't this great?! The stempel for this one comes from Jeanneke .. (click).

Hier zie je er wat aan elkaar. Grappig he?!
Here you see a few sewn together. Nice he?!

Allemaal 3,5" 9-patches!

And this is what I had as a Leader and Ender (for the ones who aren't familiar with that expression.... click).
All 3,5" 9-patches!
Ofcourse I lost count......
and when I counted, I came at 218!
I needed 210 for this quilt:
Tumalo Trail by Bonnie Hunter, from her book Scraps & Shirttails II

Here you can see how much fun it is to sew the blocks ..
With Yvonne (van Budel), a Singer 15K-88 treadle machine from 1936.
A lovely machine, and she always sews!

Finally I had 42 blocks.
Nice to see all those scrappy-fabrics, he?!
Just have to ad the sashings;
but that has to wait till next time...

It feels great to have finished this post for you all!
