Eerst maar even over de prachtige quilt-tentoonstelling in Delden en Borne, begin november.

I couldn't take my eyes of it!

En het was ook weer de tijd van het jaar dat onze lieve Airedale getrimd moest worden.... ;)

Kijk eens hoe ze er uit ziet en hoeveel haar er dan vanaf komt!!

Een mooie Amar kwam er weer onder vandaan en hier is het net of ze haar trimster bedankt.

And ofcourse it was the time of the year that our lovely Airedale had a grooming sessions planned.... ;)

Ook kwamen de dekens van de Crochet Along 2014 aan een eind.

De beide dochters zijn er heel blij mee; en ik dus ook!

I also completed the blankets from the Crochet Along 2014.

Both of my daughters were very  happy to receive them; and I was happy as well, ofcourse!

Dit zijn mijn kleuren voor de mysterie.

Heb er wel wat verruild voor kleuren die ik wat mooier vond.
Nu maar afwachten of het echt bij elkaar past, he?!

These are my colours for the mystery.

I swapped some of them for colours I loved more.

Now I have to wait and see if they do fit together, huh?!

Maar snel naar bed en afwachten wat morgen brengt......  ;)

I'm of to bed, can't wait what tomorrow brings.....  ;)

Prachtige expositie...... Great exhibition.....

van de quilts van Ada Struys bij "de Naaidoos" in Nieuw-Buinen.

Ik had ze al voorbij zien komen op hun site (klik), maar wilde ze toch graag zelf zien en dat was echt een genot om naar te kijken!

Kijk maar even:

I had seen them on their site (click), but wanted to see them for myself and that was a real treat!

Just take a look:

En dan te bedenken dat de maakster al 80 lentes is en alles met de hand heeft gemaakt in een tijd van drie jaar........ ik was sprakeloos.....

And to think that the maker is 80 years old and made them all by hand in a time of three years....... I was speechless......

Allerlei technieken; stoffen; kleuren, wat een creativiteit!

All kinds of techniques, fabrics, colours, what a creativity!

Ondanks dat de foto niet zo scherp is, zie je wel het licht eruit springen bij de linker Stack and Whack quilt; en de rechter mozaiek blijft maar draaien, he?!

Despite the bit blurry picture, you can see the light coming right at you from the left Stack and Whack quilt; and the one on the right (the mosaic) just keeps turning, doesn't it?!

En wat vindt je van dit prachtige pauwenpaneel? 

Ik kon het niet laten hangen..... ;)

Ondanks dat ik natuurlijk heb beloofd niets nieuws te beginnen, betekent dat natuurlijk niet dat je niets nieuws kunt kopen, toch??....  :)

Ofcourse I promised myself not to start anything new, but that doesn't mean that I can't by anything, is it??..... ;)

Natuurlijk moesten daar wel wat stofjes bij, want de ideetjes begonnen wel te borrelen, natuurlijk....

Ofcourse I had to search for some fabrics to go with the panel, because the idea's started coming, ofcourse.......

Gisteren was het moederdag, waarbij ik heel lief bedacht ben, 

en van de hele plaat appelcake waren deze stukjes nog over. 

Gezellig!

Yesterday it was Mothersday, with lovely visits and gifts,

and of the entire plate of applecake, these pieces were the only ones left.

Great!

Hoeveel je kunt beleven in minder dan een week...... How much you can experience in less than a week......

Echt, wat valt er veel te vertellen EN te laten zien..... (misschien moet ik het maar in twee keer doen...)
Really, there is so much to tell AND so much to show you..... (maybe I should devide it in two times...)

Na de prachtige Trunkshow van Supergoof kwam de zondag, met de Patchwork en Quiltdagen in Rijswijk.
Ik had een kaartje gewonnen bij Jeanneke (klik), weet je nog...
 Eerst zouden we langs mijn vriendin in Veenendaal gaan om de oude Singer naaimachine (306K) van haar moeder op te halen.
(we woonden vanaf onze geboorte twee huizen van elkaar af en zijn ook samen naar school en klas gegaan.... en houden nog steeds contact..; toch wel leuk!)
After the gorgeous Trunshow by Supergoof came the Sunday, with the visit to the Patchwork and Quiltdays at Rijswijk.
I won a ticket at Jeanneke's blog (click), remember.....
 First we went by my friend at Veenendaal to collect her mothers old Singer (306K).
(since birth we lived two houses from eachother and even went to the same school in the same class.... and still keep in touch; so much fun!)

En na een schoonmaak-smeer- en stelbeurt loopt ze weer prachtig! Ik moest er natuurlijk ook even flink mee aan de slag.... heb de oogst er maar even omheen gelegd....
And after a clean-oil-and fixing session she works like a charm! Ofcourse I had to make a few blocks to try her out..... and put them around her for show and tell....

En dan de Patchwork en Quiltbeurs...... Wat een mooie quilts; en wat divers.....

Ik denk dat ik jullie vandaag alleen maar even wat huisjesquilts laat zien en een volgende keer de rest....

Hier boven staat de quilt van Jeanneke (klik); de initiatiefneemster van de Huizen-hype.

Is ie niet prachtig!!!!!!

(en voor de liefhebber: er komt een stempel van de huisjes.... info bij Jeanneke....)

And the Patchwork and Quiltexhibit..... So manu gorgeous quilts; and so very different...

I think I just will show you the little houses-quilts and the rest another time....

Above is the quilt made by Jeanneke (click); she invented the Huisjes-hype.

Een prachtig rood- en-wit- en blauw-enwit huisjesdorp.....

Mooi hoor! So beautiful!

En ook een hondenhuisje.....

And also a doggyhouse.....

Allemaal bloemetjes in de rand....

All flowers in the border.....

O ja, en Jeanneke had ook een huisje op de kop erin gezet, omdat op die dag.......

de Nederlandse regering gevallen was......

Oh, and Jeanneke also made a little house upside down, because that day....

the Dutch gouvernement fell.....

En nog een flinke zwaai van Sylvester.....( van Tweetie-cartoons...  ;)  .....)

Dan was het ook nog maandag B(lock) a D(ay)-challenge.....

En vandaag is het mandjesdag...... 

Ik heb zulke lieve mandjes gemaakt.... twee soorten....  :))

Maar even nog snel laten zien wat ik had gemaakt....

And Monday it was B(lock) a D(ay)-challenge....

today it's basketmakersday....

I made such cute baskets..... two types of....  :))

Just a quick show and tell of my little blocks....

En ik blijf natuurlijk bezig met ......."tuinieren"...... ;)

And ofcourse I keep....... "gardening"......  ;)
