Wel heel leuk....... Just so much fun.......

om met de Block a Day Challenge mee te doen van Robyn (Daisy Quilts - klik)

En dan is het gewoon heel leuk om zo'n dienblaadje op de tafel te hebben staan...... Even afgekeken van Nadine (Friendship Threads), die een heel leuk mandje had bedacht! (trouwens...heb wel even overlegd, hoor... ;) ......).
Kijk maar: sterretjes-pakketjes en mandjes-pakketjes! Zo makkelijk! (en leuk.... ;) ......!)
And then it is just so cute to have such a lovely little tray on the table.... The idea comes from Nadine (Friendship Threads), who has a very cute little basket for her little blocks! (I did ask if she'ld agree.... ;) .....).
And look: all little stars and baskets, just for the making! So handy! (and nice.... :) ...!)

 

En even een extraatje...: dit is de quilt voor mijn broer. Samen met m'n (schoon-) zus (eigenlijk zeg ik altijd "zus", want we kennen elkaar al zo lang.....), hebben we er een hele tijd aangewerkt.

De stoffen komen overal vandaag; ook bij de KL (KringLoop) hebben we verscheidene schatten bemachtigd!

En zus heeft eigenlijk de laatste hand eraan gelegd: ze heeft de hele quilt doorgepit...... 8) ...

 Wat een prestatie, he?! Want het is wel meer dan 2.00 bij 2.00 meter!!

And this is a little extra: the quilt for my brother. Together with my sister (in law)- (actually I just call her "sis", because we know eachother such a long time....), we worked quite some time on this one.

The fabrics come from everywhere; also the SH (Second Handshop) provided us with quite some treasures!

And sis did the last work on this quilt; she quilted the whole thing..... 8) ......

Quite an achievement, he?! Because he is more than 2.00 by 2.00 mtrs!!

 

 

 

Pssst: hier is ze nog net te zien....., dat wist ze niet hoor, dus dit is voor haar wel een beetje een verrassing.......... (ondeugende zus, he zus??.....  :) .......).

Psssst: this picture just shows her in the corner......, she didn't know that, so this is a surprise for her........ (naughty sister, he sis?? ...... :) .......).

Het derde blok is al aangekomen en ik kan dus direct verder....... :))

Ben zo nieuwsgierig hoe het dan lijkt!

En als je vast wilt zien hoe blok 3 eruit ziet, moet je even gaan kijken bij Danielle, want zij maakt de blokken vooruit voor ons! Geweldig!!

Lieve mensen....... Dear all.......

wat kan het toch druk zijn dan ineens.......... Onze slaapkamer gesausd en behangen.... Wat een werk (!!), maar wel heel mooi geworden....... ;)

and then it's very busy all of a sudden...... We painted and wallpapered our bedroom.... A lot of work, but the result is beautiful...... ;)

Ook het tweede blok van "In my Garden" is bijna klaar. Wat een prachtig werkje is dat! Dit is het laatste stuk ervan; dan kan het in elkaar met die leuke stofjes ertussen en is het wachten op blok 3..... ;))

And the second block of "In my Garden" is almost done. What a lovely work this is! This is the last of it; than I can put it together with those beautiful fabrics in between.

Hope block three is soon here.... ;))

Wat een leuke kleine mandjes, hè? Ik vind het heerlijk om ze te maken... ;)

Weet nog niet hoe groot het gaat worden, maar zo lang het leuk blijft gaan we rustig door.. :)

And the little baskets are also coming along nicely! What a little cuties and I just love to make them.... ;)
