Terug thuis......... Back home.........

Wat a cosiness! We were camping with the whole church, the last weekend. And what a sunny weather it was........ Great!
I can't show you the complete field in one picture, so here are a few..

Ofcourse I could make some stitches in between of all that cosiness and that is what I did!
A picture of all quiltyness.........

For now goodbye! And enjoy the sunshine (as far as possible......., ofcourse!) :))

Love, Ria.

Sylvia op bezoek....... Sylvia visiting.........

We often have visitors..... Now it was Sylvia who was in the neighbourhood. She did not have much time..... because she is going camping next weekend with the caravan en DH (or: DH and I are going camping for the weekend and I just wanted to show you the blocks from Sylvia's Bridal Sampler I made..... ;)) ...)!

Hier zijn ze dan:
Here they are:
Block B4 Children's Delight; 12 pieces

Here is Block B5 Grandmother's Flower Garden; 8 pieces.
(You could also see her in the previous post ...... surrounded by little hexagon-flowers..... ;) ..).

And this is the last Block this time: B6 Crow's Foot; 40 pieces.

And look who is enjoying herself in the back of the picture?? She is absolutely right, because she helped sewing the blocks......
Greetz by Josephine!

With the weekend (and the preparations...) in sight, I wish you very happy, sunny days!
What probably will work out; when we believe the wetherforcast. Have fun! I'll be back on Tuesday!
Love en groetjes, Ria.

Allerlei............... All kind of..........

quilty things passed my hands lately. I was quite absent due to some nice and not-so-nice circumstances, who took all my attention....... So I'm sorry!
I will show you some pictures of my activities.

Allerlei speldenkussens. Wat een leuk karweitje!

All sorts of pincushions. What a lovely job to do!

Caroline. ;))
And my help to do these things........ Caroline. ;))

Vrolijk gezicht, he?
One of my hexagon-projects; a field of all kind of coloured flowers. What a cheerful sight, isn't it?

Ook leuk, he?

This is the second project; all in soft creme and flower-fabrics..... Looks also nice, doesn't it?

This is my working-kit for the hexagons. I make the hexagons from pre-cut cardboard, a half inch. I cut my fabrics into 4 x 4 cm, that works quick and great.

Here you see some little flowers next to the SBS- B5 block; Grandmother's Flower Garden. That is quite a difference.....

And ofcourse I'm still working on quilting Leanne's House. That is so relaxing!

And the klosjes are always close-by. The top is growing and growing....
The lay-out is also forming in my mind, but I will keep that a mystery for now.... ;))

In elk geval een heel zonnige week!
Anyway a lovely, sunny week!
Love from me!

Speciaal............. Special.............

It is quite a special day today, isn't it? Our country was set free 65 years ago..... I feel that as a special event...... Everyone of us, I guess!
And today is our Dear Jane-update....... I also am an update late about the Featherweight Challenge I am doing with Nat and Terry. (It is also fun to make them a visit..)

First the Featherweight Challenge; it is already the 4th update. I haven't sewn everything together (because of Jane's visit...... ^_^ .....). But I can show you the fabric I bought for the borders. Real Staphorster (= Dutch) fabric! It's really getting an international quilt.....!

Een paar extra foto's en close-ups. Some extra pictures and close-ups.

And Jane was visiting and that was such pleasure! Actually..... she is still here...... And we are having still fun with all those little fabrics...

We zullen ze even laten zien:
