Leuk!..En een "Bejaarden-Soos"!..... Great!....And an "Elderly-Club"!.

Ja, echt, ongelooflijk!!
There are so many great things to do, and time flies by then!
I really have to tell you all about all the fun thats happening here.....  :)
It's really incredible!!

Eerst de geweldige leuke Apliquick-workshops, afgelopen woensdag!
Dames: allemaal heel hartelijk bedankt!!
First the wonderfull Apliquick-workshops, last wednesday!
Ladies: thank you all for a super time!!
(ofcourse: I forgot to take pictures, so here an oldie of the Apliquick-tools...)

En hier is mijn tweede Vesta (dus naast "Tante Es"!).
Ontmoet: Tante Mien (-Wilhelmina-).
Zo rond 1930.
Afgelopen zaterdag opgehaald uit Smilde.
Prachtig, he?!
And here is my second Vesta (besides "Auntie Es"!).
Meet: Auntie Mien (-Wilhelmina-).
She is the handcranck-version of Auntie Es; although a bit younger. Around 1930.
Collected her last Saturday from Smilde (in the north of the Netherlands).
Isn't she gorgeous?!

ECHT 125 jaar oud!
And:
last Saturday we also brought this respectable lady home to us, from Groningen...
A Singer Improved Family from 1888,
REALLY 125 years old!
Made at the Kilbowie Factory, Clydebank, Scotland.
She actually is the precursor to the Singer 15 class-machines
and is therefore also called a Singer 15-1.
It was really a stroke of luck......
Had I not seen a Quilt-cam-episode of Bonnie Hunter (click)
where se was also sewing on such a machine,
I might not have recognised her.......
Her name: (Princess) Sissie Niks.

I feel like such a lucky girl!!!!!!!!  :)

Isn't it great, all those old machines!!
If you also love these oldies and would like to join us,
sign in and have fun with all of us!!!!
Great to see eachother "old ladies" and hear their stories
and ofcourse to see what gorgeous things we still make with them!!

Maar wat je ook doet: geniet ervan!! Een heel goede week!
But, whatever you do: enjoy it!! Whishing you a great week!

Love, Ria.
